541 Youth
Mission
We are a faith community guided by the love of Jesus Christ to nurture the hearts of young people. Striving to lead the youth by example our ongoing Spiritual Formation process incorporates Worship, Fellowship, Fun, Scripture, Prayer, and Works of Mercy.
Train the young in the way they should go; even when old, they will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)

541 Youth Structure
541 Youth has a special Ministry Theme for each month. This Theme is divided into four areas of focus that help ensure a holistic ministry to our youth.
Some of these areas of focus have a Wednesday night dedicated to it, others occur at home or at church on the weekend.
All meals and activities are paid for by Holy Communion Church.
An email is sent at the beginning of each month to our parents and guardians listing the activities. Texts are sent each week with updates and reminders.
weekly Focus
LEARN THE WAY
Learn The Way is our Intellectual Focus. On the first Wednesday of the month we gather for dinner, games and fellowship. We then move to our faith formation lesson followed by small groups.
Each small group has age appropriate Bible study, discussion, and verse memorization centered around our monthly theme.
All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for refutation, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that one who belongs to God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

CARE AND PRAY
Care And Pray is our Heart Focus and occurs in the family home. During the week we encourage parents to pray with the youth about our monthly theme.
DO AND SAY
Do And Say is our Physical Focus. On the first Sunday of each month, we encourage our youth to assist as volunteers in the local church as greeters, lectors or helpers with CuddleCare and Kids Church.
This is discipleship in action!
Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith and in purity.

PRAISE AND PLAY
Praise And Play is our Spiritual Focus on the third Wednesday or other times (to be announced).
We usually meet somewhere in the community for a night of FUN! This could be K1 Racing, Lava Lanes, Sun Mountain Fun Center, Trampoline Zone, Bend Rock Gym, Pickle Ball, hiking at Smith Rock, or floating the Deschutes River!
Small Groups
Small group time is based on age to ensure we are meeting the youth on their level with each focus.
All Small Group Bible Studies are followed by guided group discussion and verse memorization.
Small Groups
Our Small Groups gather to discuss the Catholic Central Faith Formation videos and other Christian curriculum.
